Planning Issues

Planning Issues capture one of two broad categories of work conducted by the NROC Ocean Planning Committee (see Data Issues for the other category).

Planning Issues include activities such as:

  • Identifying and implementing Best Practices for environmental review, permitting, and management of ocean uses
  • Establishing work groups or subcommittees to support regional ocean management and planning priorities and initiating discussions, forums, and workshops for emerging or important regional ocean management and planning issues (e.g., Offshore Transmission)
